So much of the modern craft of songwriting ties in with the software platform we writers choose to use. How intuitive is the user interface or GUI? How rich are the instruments and effects plug-ins? Am I inspired when firing it up to quickly get some ideas going or is it taking too long to figure things out so far as set up and menu diving? Reason has been my go to for decades, which is why I'm so happy to hear that Version 14 is coming to us in May!
